YOUR MISSION
Do you have a feel for language, a good eye for design, and real curiosity about how AI is reshaping content work?
Then this is your chance to build a portfolio while you study. Join WBS CODING SCHOOL, one of Germany's leading tech schools, and help shape the future of tech talent. We are on a mission to empower individuals to launch successful careers in tech. As our Working Student Content & Creative Specialist, you will help produce and maintain the content that carries our courses and events to market: written copy, social assets, and campaign material across German and English. You will work with AI tools daily as part of how the team operates, not as a novelty. As you grow into the role, there is scope to take on more ownership across campaigns and channels.
Your responsibilities:
Content Management (Core Focus)
- Content production and upkeep: Draft, edit, and adapt marketing copy across our website, landing pages, social channels, and email. Keep course and campaign content accurate, current, and consistent across all placements, catching the details that slip.
- Bilingual content: Adapt and localise copy between German and English so both markets read naturally rather than translated.
- Content calendar: Support the planning and scheduling of content across channels, keeping deadlines visible and deliverables on track.
Event Marketing Copy
- Ad copy: Write promotional copy for WBS CODING SCHOOL events across paid social, organic social, and email. Adapt core event messaging into the formats each channel needs.
- Event listings: Produce and maintain event copy across placements including Meetup, Eventbrite, and our own site.
Design & Creative
- Canva production: Design social assets, event graphics, presentation slides, and marketing collateral from our brand templates. Apply WBS CODING SCHOOL brand guidelines across everything you produce, and help keep our templates in good shape.
- Asset management: Organise and maintain the shared asset library so the team can find what it needs.
AI-Assisted Working
- AI in the workflow: Use AI tools to accelerate drafting, repurposing, and adapting content across formats and languages. Help test and refine the prompts and processes the marketing team relies on.
- Human judgement: Edit, fact-check, and shape AI output before anything ships, because the final quality bar is yours.
Collaboration
- Cross-team coordination: Work with the wider marketing team to align content with campaign activity and course launches.
- Stakeholder input: Gather what you need from colleagues across the business to get content right first time.
